Quinton Murr

Quinton was raised in good ol' Junction, Texas.  Being a small town with not much to do, Quinton found himself involved in competitive sports from a very young age.  Throughout his school years, he played football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf and ran track.  His aspirations of playing basketball collegiately ended with an ACL tear his junior football season, and he decided to put more focus towards golf.  After graduation, he was blessed enough to earn a spot playing golf collegiately, but decided his focus needed to be on his academics after his freshman year.  In 2010, Quinton graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP) with a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in English.  He then moved to Uvalde, where he began teaching middle school math and coaching middle school athletics.  It was at this time that Quinton fell in love with CrossFit.   Quinton has a five year old little boy named Easton, (the resident ball of energy) who you’ll see going rep for rep with Dad on all gymnastic movements. Outside of the gym, he enjoys playing sports with Easty and coaching his youth teams.  Quint loves long metcons that involve running, anything with gymnastics, and making Weston cry when he beats him in friendly competitions. He is not a fan of any high volume barbell work.....or thrusters (barf).

Weston Neiman

Weston grew up in Junction and was deeply involved in sports throughout high school. He fell in love with football as a sophomore and pursued a college career as a slot receiver at New Mexico State University and then Texas Tech University, where he went on to earn his M.B.A. Two seasons and a handful of touchdowns later, he had to hang up the cleats after a herniated and ruptured disc required surgery to be able to tie his shoes without pain. After a few years of sporatic globo gym weightlifting and a few months of hearing Quint blab about how great Crossfit was, Weston reluctantly dropped in to a class with Quint. He swears it was the first time Quint ever beat him in anything (besides golf, but that doesn't really count anyways) and promised to never let that happen again. Four years later he has kept his promise and opened BattleWolf Crossfit with Quint. Loves to clang 'n bang (lift heavy weights) and hates burpees. Weston is a 2018 South Regional Individual Qualifier where he finished in 9th place, narrowly missing out on the Games.
